*Rundgren is one of a myriad of artists rumored to be the inspiration for David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust character. The others are Marc Bolan and Vince Taylor.

anyone who can pluck “hello it’s me” and “i saw the light” from out of the sky must have sold his soul to the devil.
after the look he gives the camera between 2:10 and 2:15, i half expect him to do the mangina from Silence of the Lambs.
